We did a two day rafting trip with dinner and fun on the beach in the middle of nowhere. Since this was my first time white water rafting, I am so happy we made the choice to go with you. This was a highlight of our trip to Nepal. We were 2 and joined with 7 others of varying nationalities. The bus ride from Pokhara was tediously long at 3.5 hours (main road under construction so alternative wiggle found), and the start point not very celubrious, but the guides were fantastic- just got the rafting level right- into all the white water for max thrill, and then played games in the quiet sections. The food was good (impressive toast on a campfire) and lovely attention to detail- lights near all tents and towards the toilet tent. The campsite was fab. Sleeping mattress was about 5 mm thick, and tent woudl have been too warm, but no mosquitoes/ flies so easy to sleep half-outside. Beers appeared on order and a lovely campfire made a fantastic evening. The rafting continued on day 2 with more rapids fun , being thrown across the boat a couple of times (!) . Swimming opportunities abound. Again the guides made it a fabulous trip for the whole duration. Way beat expectations..
