The Kali Gandaki River originates from the Tibetan plateau high in the Himalayan mountains. Named after the Hindu goddess Kali it is one of the main holy rivers of Nepal. Rushing down from the mountains this rapid river is one of the best rivers in Nepal for rafting as well as being one of the most scenic. Waterfalls, jungles teeming with wildlife, sandy beaches interspersed with bridges and traditional villages. All of this you will encounter on your epic journey down the magnificent Kali. And don't forget the amazing gorge as you paddle through it, one of the deepest in the world carved out over millenia and one of the ancient trading routes through to Tibet. History and amazing nature as well as exciting rafting will all be experienced as you raft down the holy Kali.
Paddling down this 55 kilometer stretch of river of class III+ and IV rapids is an adrenaline-charged experience that will race your heart.
This trip is for 3 days and 2 nights camping in good tents on good grounds on the banks of the Kali. All meals provided and snacks.
